Re: [cobalt-users] Qube 2 Lockup Problems! HELP!!!!!!

The APC should be providing brown out protection via line conditioning,
i.e. if its working properly, power surges and dips shouldn't affect the
equipment attached to it. Also, if for some reason you were overloading
it (which it doesn't sound like you are), the load meter on the front
would tell you, and the audible alarm would be complaining quite loudly.

It sounds to me quite honestly like you've just got a good old fashioned
hardware problem, quite possibly with either the power supply or system
board, maybe the hard drive. I've had a similar thing happen before on a
Raq3i, and it turned out to be something wrong with the system board (we
swapped out the HDD and still had the same problem).

Best of luck to you, I'm sure this isn't what you wanted to hear. I could
very well be wrong, just my $.02.

Regards,

- John
