[cobalt-users] configure _one_ email alias for _two_ pop accounts
- Subject: [cobalt-users] configure _one_ email alias for _two_ pop accounts
- From: "Dale Peck" <Dale@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
- Date: Fri Nov 10 17:14:24 2000
- List-id: Mailing list for users to share thoughts on Cobalt products. <cobalt-users.list.cobalt.com>
Create a user to which email will be sent.
In that user's directory create a .forward file containing any/all email
addresses (full addresses) to which the email should be delivered each on a
separate line. This can include the user itself.
For Example:
create user fred
create the file /home/sites/.../users/fred/.forward
with the following content:
fred@xxxxxxxxxxxx
george@xxxxxxxxxxxx
harry@xxxxxxxxx
alice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
In this scenario, email sent to fred@xxxxxxxxxxxx will be delivered to fred,
george, harry and alice at their respective domains. If fred is not in the
list he will not receive the email but the others will.
