I remember some discussions on FrontPage forms but don't remember this exact
issue coming up or any resolution.
I have been having problems on my Raq3i with FrontPage forms on my customers
sites.
When a visitor submits a form an error is returned that tells the visitor to
inform the Webmaster of a server error and on the same page tells the
Webmaster that a log of the error is being generated and check the log
files. But nothing was notated in any log file.
Support advised of a similar prob on the Raq4 but nothing had been reported
on the Raq3i.
The fix was the following:
in the usr/local/frontpage directory:
locate the www.domain.com:80.cnf file
edit and add to the last line:
MailSender:user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
(Must the the fully qualified domain name)
This will fix the problem but this has to done on every web site with
FrontPage enabled. Hopfully a patch will be available soon.
Sorry if this is a repeat but I can't recall seeing this. Some what of a
Newbie so bear with me ;-)
Anyone have similar probs or solutions?
