[cobalt-users] virtusertable.db simply wont recreate

When I run the command ->

makemap hash /etc/virtusertable.db < /etc/virtusertable

no errors are reported but the filesize does not change on the db. Also no
new aliases appear to be working (least of all catch alls).

As an experiment, I removed the file /etc/virtusertable.db and rehashed it.
Lo and behold the file was not created, no errors were reported either.

I am logged in a root when I do this so I cant see permissions being a
problem.

Is the source for makemap on the raq3 that I can recompile? Would this be
the problem? It just doesnt seem to work at all. I have contacted cobalt
support (last week). You know how it is.

Cheers,
