Personally I would contact the School and bitch
Advise the FBI (If law enforcement agent know what you are talking about)
Set up a firewall to the outside net depending on how you are setup.
I personally do not have my ftp,telnet and port 81 open
to the outside world, in other words only have the ports needed to run the
services you use or need.
Any more help, let me know
