Yes, I have run into the same problem, and it is a BIG problem to me. Also,
when you upload via Frontpage, and later go in via FTP to edit a file in
FTP, you get a permission denied error because FP runs as Nobody, and your
FTP login uses a unique username. This is very, very bad.
I called Cobalt Support in Rochester yesterday (Friday) and the guy
recognized the problem and said that upper level support is aware of this,
but there is no fix yet. I got transferred to their support in Washington,
but the guy had to attend a meeting and said he would call me back. I got
busy doing something else and do not know if he called back or not.
Regardless, yes, there is a problem and they seem to be aware of it...
(that's good). As soon as I find out more information, I will let the list
know.
To anyone who is having this problem, I suggest that you contact Cobalt
Support ASAP so that they will maybe hurry the patch along more quickly.
