Hello,
I have been trying now for some time to password protect a dir using a
password file other then the /etc/passwd file. and no matter what I put in
my .htaccess file I can use my custom .passwd file.
Here is my . htaccess file
# Access file
order allow,deny
allow from all
require valid-user
Authname "Rotary Members Only"
Authtype Basic
AuthUserFile /home/sites/.htpasswd
Now I cant use the above mentioned .htpasswd file to log in to that dir but
I can log in using any of the users/passwds that are in the main passwd.
Is there some thing that I have to do some where to allow me to use a
separate htpasswd file???
Please Help
Thank You
