Port 444 is used by the RaQ 3 and 4 much in the same way as
port 81 on the RaQ 1 and 2. It is actually an SSL port that lets you
hook up to the admin web server securely if you have SSL enabled
on the main site. It is an alternative to sending SSL over port 81 as
many proxies and firewalls can only map one type of protocol per
port and port 81 was already used for HTTP by the RaQ 1 and 2
and the RaQ 3 and 4 when SSL isn't enabled. They didn't use port
443 (normal SSL port) on the admin server because that port is
already in use by the main web server when you enable SSL.
