The AC adapter is capable of producing up to 45W continuously for long
periods of time. This does not mean, however, that it will stuff 45W down
the Qube's throat at all times. The actual current draw is whatever the Qube
tries to draw at that point in time... probably the 25W on average.
Once you put in two drives, the current draw will increase sharply. But your
concern is always the weakest link in the chain: make sure that the AC
adapter and the power supply can both handle the current needed.
