John,
I've got a RaQ4i and it didn't come with MySQL installed. It did, however,
have PostgreSQL and Interbase pre-installed, as well as PHP4. All I had to
do was run the MySQL package from the cobalt site and it was ready to go,
already worked fine with the PHP.
Btw, it's got Perl5.00503 on it. Not sure what the 3's come with.
Through some discussion with other list members I've found that the GUI is a
bit different as well. Some minor changes here and there.
If you go with a RaQ4r, it's got RAID support. No idea if that's something
you're interested in.
