It depends. Do you want to get mail as "you@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" or as
"you@xxxxxxxxxx"?

Presuming the latter, you set up an A record for "domain.com" and an MX
record pointing "domain.com" to "domain.com" (I know, it appears to be
redundant. But believe me it's the right way to do it).

That depends. Are you running both primary and secondary DNS on one
RaQ? If so, and if you've registered your nameservers as ns1.domain.com
and ns2.domain.com, then you need A records for each of them. You don't
need sites for either of them, but you do have to have a site for each
IP# they answer to (not necessarily the same site, though).
