[cobalt-users] Running Cron jobs on a RAQ3i

Hi All,

I used to schedule cron on a BSDI unix server but the RAQ3i seems to be a
totally different setup.  I've tried creating and saving a simple test file
in the cron.quarter-hourly folder but it doesn't do anything and I've tried
creating a file complete with the 5 time parameters then loading it with
Crontab 'name of file'.  The file loads fine and shows up with crontab -l
but it still doesn't do anything!  I've tried the Knowledge base but there's
nothing which goes beyond where to put the scripts

I want the sever to mail the zipped maillog to me each night and I want to
schedule wusage7.0 to run weekly across a number of sites.  I followed the
knowledge base instructions for turning on use of crontab by users but that
didn't make a difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
