Not a bug, a feature, and one common to all Linux systems.
Users must be unique across the whole server for various (good) reasons. So
you're confusing the box by having two users named the same way. Try naming
everybody:
d001user1 (for users in domain 001)
d1u1
or some other scheme where username will always be unique across the server.
Then, create aliases for them within their domain that will allow them to
receive their mail however they want. So, "d17u34" can have aliases "joe,
jsmith, joe.smith, info" within the domain "store.com" and "d42u109" can
have the aliases "john, jjones, john.jones, info" within the domain
"services.net" with no problems.
Also, for this kind of thing, check the archives; this has come up 7,492
times before and would have gotten you an answer within minutes and not
hours or days.
