Guys,
I have a Qube 2 which has just sent the following;
> The CPU in the Cobalt server is overloaded; it is attempting to do too many
> things at the same time. An amber light means that there are 3 times as many
> tasks waiting to be executed as are actually running, and a red light means
> that there are 6 times as many. Consider moving some of the services to other
> Cobalt servers, or reduce the complexity of the CGI scripts running on the
> Cobalt server itself.
I think the likely "problem" is the following process;
USER PID %CPU %MEM SIZE RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND
root 19216 56.4 3.1 7764 2004 ? R 01:02 266:18 (glimpseindex)
Can I just kill it?
The "search" feature is not used at all on this Qube.
How can I disable it permanently or is it needed for something else?
If I can't disable it, can I restrict its "index" to just /home/groups/home
instead of the what is probably /home?
Cheers, Malcolm
