Gateway Microservers do not suffer the problem, however to the best of my
knowledge Cobalt security patches do not install on the Gateway Microserver.

To the best of my knowledge the Gateway software is not available
separately, nor is a Restore CD.

Netatalk is not installed on the RaQ series.
I have not tested a Qube 3 to see if the bug has been fixed. A nice
"feature" of the Qube 3 manual is that the screen dumps come from a MacOS
version of Netscape Communicator ... hopefully this obvious sign of support
for MacOS means the Netatalk bug has received appropriate attention.
Also since the Gateway Microserver is really a "black Qube 2.5" one would
expect that the Qube 3 would not have the bug, however there has been a
architecture change from MIPS to x86 so who knows.
One would also expect that Cobalt would fix the bug in an OS Update for the
Qube 2, however when I asked the question a couple of months ago ...

I've been living with this bug since I first reported it ...

At that time I was advised that Cobalt were aware of the problem, had a fix,
but it was with QA ... looks like its still with QA although it made it into
the Gateway Microserver release.
Cheers, Malcolm
