So Jeff... now that I have your attention, what are the odds that this
software can/will be backward-ported to the Qube2? There are a lot of those
out there... Even with all the bad things I have to say about Microsoft, I
will concede that they make a strong effort to make their stuff
backward-compatible and usable on previous platforms so long as the CPU/RAM
basics can handle the load.
Come on... a lot of the new software functionality would be great to have.
But you're telling me that, to get the new software, I have to buy the new
server!? That doesn't make Cobalt a very appealing long-term choice for a
supplier. New OS version... new server.
Heck, I have a Qube2 at home, and I can't really afford to go changing that
stuff so often. Are all Qube2 users stranded? Please, please tell me that
you have these things in mind...
