BABU wrote here. FOR RAQ3 -------- Not as a default, but you may setup a Mailing list. The alias 'site-adm-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' is available as default. To check the availability on your server login as root and at command prompt try sendmail -bv site-adm-list@localhost But this alias is too dangerous, if the spammer knows this alias they could spam to all Site Admins. -- BABU
For RAQ2 and maybe others?I've been reading the notes about mailing all siteadmins with bulletins. When reading the install file for the new qpopper 3.0.2 release that we recently put on the RAQ2, I noticed info about a new Bulletin feature. I'm sure no expert, but if an expert were to read the Release.Notes and INSTALL files...(mine are in /usr/doc/qpopper-3.0.2 ) then maybe it would be easy enough to set up. These bulletins can be sent to all users or just pre-defined groups. And, it keeps track of who has been sent what bulletin so they don't get it again, and all new users are sent a certain predefined number of back bulletins just so they can be brought up to current info.
Is there someone here who uses this feature? Diana Brake Crest Communications, Inc. diana@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Beautiful Sunny Florida http://crestcommunications.com/ 352-495-9359, 425-732-9785 fax
