Re: [cobalt-users] WHOIS script

Hi Florian,

I installed fwhois yesterday in my RAQ3.

Follow these steps:

1.- download the file 'fwhois-1.00-8.i386.rpm' from
'ftp://ftp.freesoftware.com/pub/linux/redhat/old-releases/redhat-5.2/i386/RedHat/RPMS/'
to one of your server folder (for example 'downloads'). Use wget to
retrieve the file.

2.- type 'rpm -hUv fwhois-1.00-8.i386.rpm' and you've got it!

3.- fwhois will be in usr/bin/

4.- Now you can call fwhois from any perl script.

I hope this help you.

Toni
