No, not at all. These two things are not connected at all.
I would highly recommend everyone to use "HostnameLookups Off", and
NEVER EVER turn it on. For a production webserver, it has no use.
It's much better to use offline processing of your logs instead.
The penalty of using "HostnameLookups Off" is, that your visitors will
experience a small delay before a page is served.
