No fix from Cobalt; after all, we're not actually supposed to be able to
_install useful software_ on our RaQs - invalidates the warranty,
don'tcha know.
Anyway, I dealt with this, as I said a few days ago, thusly:
>I just installed several security patches from Cobalt in one swell foop,
so I'm afraid I have no idea which is the culprit. But, after I'd
finished, I was unable to relay. I finally managed to sort it all out,
but believe me, my heart was in my mouth for a while there.
>So, if you run POP before Relay version 1.2 on a RaQ3, and Cobalt
breaks
it with one of their patches, here's what to do:
>First, install:
ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/contrib/binaries/RaQ3-POP-before-Relay-1.2-4.pkg
Do NOT test SMTP at this point. I don't wish to be responsible for
your heart attack. Just move swiftly on to the next stage, and install:
ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/contrib/binaries/RaQ3-POP-before-Relay-1.2.pkg
>Now you should be back where you were before Cobalt messed your system
up, only hopefully the new security patches work. I give no guarantees
on that, though. I can relay again, I'm happy.
I _still_ give no guarantees.
Trust me, I'm a doctor
