Legato Networker is a network backup system. The
software on the Qube is the client only. You also need
a Legato Networker server which has tape drives attached.
The server side can handle anything from a couple of
DAT drives to tape arrays and X hundred tape libraries
with many drives.
With the server, you purchase client licenses. The
server software doesn't run on Linux at the moment (to
the best of my knowledge) so you 'll need some other
system. I have no idea how much it costs but I've used
it on other non Linux systems and it does work very well.
If you're looking for a cheap Unix backup system you might want to also
