Hello,
I just discovered that the access log (/home/log/httpd/access) for all
my virtual sites has up and stopped, right at 2.0G, back on the 26th of
the month. Somehow I totally missed this!?...
so the question is, is there some kind of size-limit imposed on this
log-file, and if so, where can I increase it? Is it possible this
portion of logging crashed -- even though it is a process of apache
httpd?
Please, if anyone has quick advise on this send it soon!?
This also brings up a point to me... what size >is< a reasonable size
for a web access log file (combined)? I'm almost of the philosophy of
splitting out each VirtualHost site to it's own access and error logs,
but it somewhat intimidates me fooling with Cobalt and their damned
warranty and all... plus logrotated is intimidating to work with also...
Advice Anyone?,
