I found out that a .htaccess file ( that I set to restrict access to a
site ) had no effect until I enabled the frontpage extension for this site.
Is that a normal behavior of Apache ? Is there something in the raq that
says : ' if frontpage extensions are not ON, then DO NOT consider any
.htaccess file in a specific directory ? ).
This solves my problem ( I just enable frontpage extensions although I don't
need them ), but I'd like to understand what happens exactily.
( raq 4 )
