It's got nothing to do with whether it's a CNAME or an A record. The
problem is you're doing name-based hosting and you're sharing IP#s.
You need to enter a ServerAlias line into your
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file. See my previous post, yesterday.

Won't matter. But an A record will resolve in half the time and save
bandwidth.
