Re: [cobalt-users] cgi problem please help

Andy, search the archives for fixes for the proftpd.conf file.

I just added a line to each entry via telnet su - (pico) like this:

AllowChmod on

Works great !

Hi ALL
i have just bought another raq3 i have installed all the updates. However
when i try to run cgi scripts (which run fine on the other raq) i get
internal server error. The script has been uploaded correctly and runs fine
fron telnet. I have created a script which only contains 1 line
#!/usr/bin/perl nothing else and this even creates an internal server
error. Another one of my scripts gives me Error Message: Permission denied
Error Number: 13 even though this script is owned by the site owner.
All scripts have 755 and are owned by the site owner. And cgi scripts are
enabled for the site.
Any ideas? Has one of the updates caused this problem?
error log says Premature end of script headers: /usr/cgiwrap/cgiwrap
handler "cgi-wrapper" not found for: /home/sites/site6/web/test.pl

Any ideas

Regards Andy

Thank you.
