[cobalt-users] Disable ReWrite engine

Has anyone disbabled the rewrite engine in the httpd.conf file for the
virtual sites on a RaQ3?  Will this mess up something?
I tried looking at this lists archives but for some reason I'm getting a
forbidden error message when trying to look at the page.
I'm trying to get Urchin to work properly with sites that I have aliased.
Right now I'm using a cname.conf file for the alias pointers. But urchin
does not like that so much and my clients don't see the stats from the
aliased domains. I would rather just disable the rewrite and put the alias
in the httpd.conf file, and not have the raq change the domain name on the
pointers.
