Re: [cobalt-users] Backup Timeout?

I have the same problem. I am doing the FTP to an NT server. It didn't work when I tried to restore it. Cobalt support told me it's an issue with the FTP transfer, that when it is done to an NT it is transferring the .raq file as ASCII. So they released a patch that would "Supposedly" take care of the problem by doing the backup to an NT in binary mode.

I have been diligently backing up for the pas few months, three days ago I needed to restore, and "Internal server error" after 25 minutes of restoring. So I tried to do it manually (taking off the header...renaming it to .tar.gz and so on) and that didn't work either.

The backup is a 221MB backup which is tiny. But I just cannot restore, so If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Is there any way to backup the whole server without having it timeout in the browser and giving me a "Document contains no Data" error? Is there a way to set the timeout to a larger amount of time in the admserv so I can actually backup the whole server without using the ftp backup feature. I like burning the backups onto CD at my end.

Any suggestions? Maybe there is a browser that has a larger timeout ?
