Re: [cobalt-users] Domain working, mail not....

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input to this....

My lightbulb went off after reading a number of the replies. So, I am a
bonafide idiot;-)

Originally, Gwinnetthome.com was hosted on Mindspring which is the source of
my confusion (I expected them to have the A record, etc.). Now I
understand.....the domain owner had paid $25 to REGISTER.COM to point it to
a domain that was hosted on Mindspring....so, REGISTER.COM DID handle their
original A record with no MX record. So, when the owner requested the
change, I believe they simply pointed it back to my server.....still no MX
record. Well, regardless....we put in a request to change the primary DNS
information and secondary DNS information. I'm sure REGISTER.COM wants to
keep their $25 per year....but tough!!! In the meantime, I think I am going
to see if I can create an MX record on their server that points back to
mine. It definately explains a lot....

Thanks for all the help!

Kelly
