Maybe the entries for these domains are hard coded in the old ISP's DNS server
If this is the case are your clients are connecting to the old ISP they would never reach the sites unless these
records were removed

do an nslookup on the old ISP's DNS servers are make sure that the are not authoritive for the domains

The problem that I am having is that all the transfered sites resolve to the new server about 1/2 the time and resolve to the old server the other 1/2 of the time. I have been tearing my hair out for 3 weeks trying to deal with the problem. A couple of the sites I have exactly the same email problem (the http resolves to the new server, and the mail resolves to the old server). I think it's a problem with the DNS propagation through the internet and hopefully it will eventually sort itself out, but it has been a customer service nightmare.
