Note: I'm NOT the same Jeff. I'm Jeff Lasman, and I'm NOT with
Cobalt. Jeff Bilicki is with Cobalt.
That said... I think this was covered previously; check the archives for
this list and for cobalt-developers.
Hint: The information is in the "/etc/named/records" file. Figure out
the format. I just added 400 secondary domains to a RaQ3i dns server
this past weekend, by taking the /etc/named.conf file from the server
hosting primary dns, grepping out the lines with the domain names to
another file, and then just doing a global search-and-replace twice on
the file to change the line formats.
After you've got the /etc/named/records file with all the DNS records in
it you need/want, just restart the dns server; you can do this from the
gui; "Control Panel | DNS Parameters | Save Changes to DNS Server".
Be careful when logging in as a shell-account; mistakes can be
disastrous; be sure to make backups of any file before you change it.
