[cobalt-users] Drive Mapping Problems

Hello all,
 
I am using a Qube 2 in my network. I have two machines (Windows ME but
problem occurred with Win 98 SE as well) with users who have mapped drives
to the Qube 2. With the 2.x patches, drive mapping worked flawlessly, always
reconnecting at user log on. With the latest round of updates for the Qube 2
(3.x) the mapping no longer work. A user has to use the Windows search
function to find and reconnect to the drive that was mapped.
All Windows machines are in Workgroup and I have the settings on the Qube
set accordingly. The Qube is the DHCP server for the network.
The Knowledge base lists a potential problem with Windows vrdupd.exe that
can be fixed, however the link no longer appears to work.
 
Questions:
 
1) Has anyone else noted the problem after the latest round of patches was
installed ?
2) Does anyone still have the registry changes previously recommended that
they can repost ?
3) Any suggestions on files directories on the Qube which I should examine
for the problem and/or resolution. (I am NOT a Linux guru so be nice :)
