[cobalt-users] Buying a RaQ 4 with RAID: Good idea?

We bought a raq4 , mainly for the databases and php.
No problem with raid. We tried to take off disk 1 ; it restarts on disk 2
... no comment so far.
What's a little bit deceiving is databases. There is no hint about which one
to use, what are the pros and cons postgresq ? / interbase ? / installing
MySql ?
Interbase is not even enabled. Sometimes people on this list are ironical
about the cobalt 'sauce', but in this case there is no sauce at all. I do
not mean that it is hard to install or to use, but do not expect a GUI to
help your customers set up there databases themselves.
I think that in the future Cobalt will have to be more specific about what
software is really integrated into their UI for easy of use, and which ones
are just been downloaded on the disk.
I would be very interested in reading opinions about the prefered choice for
the database that could be used with php, and more specifically interbase vs
MySql.
It would be nice to know if Cobalt intends a graphical interface around one
of those.
