The web log

/home/log/httpd/access            (from memory)
seems to rotate quite regularly...

I want to set up some shell scripts to do simple grep+awk analysis of one
days worth of logs... the access file seems to rollover every few hours
though... but the raq2's actual GUI interface says 'usage report not
generated' despite the settings to update it daily.

My questions are..

how often does access rotate?

is there a httpd.log for just one day anywhere on the raq2?

if not, what is the time frame for those logs that are backed up?

Does anyone know why raq2's analog web stats are so buggy ? it works out of
the box but falls over after a few patches..

Can anyone recommend some good (preferably free and open source) web
analysis software that I can run on the raq overnight or in real time?
