Mitchell,
If you can spend "as much as it takes," then you should probably
be looking at the medium-range small routers. I've been looking
for an inexpensive (~$300-$400) router for ISDN, but in the process
I've bumped into loads of DSL routers as well.
Go take a look at the sites for NetGear, Netopia, Cisco, Lucent
(the products that used to come from Ascend, the Pipeline series),
Linksys, D-Link, and a couple others. They should *all* have
products that do what you want for under $1,000. For example, the
Cisco 804 (which did everything I wanted for ISDN) cost about $600.
Then go check prices. A quick way to check, if not always the best
prices, is Solunet (www.solunet.com). I often check their site to
figure out ballpark costs for stuff; tellingly, I haven't actually
bought anything from them in a while...
