RE: [cobalt-users] SMTP errors

There was a post last week from Jeff Lashas(forgive the spelling). Search
for "Server has not been responding" in the subject field. Jeff gave changes
to the sendmail.cf file which we made several months ago. Very good
documentation and should take care of your problem.

I am getting the following severe error message from my machine:

The Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) Server has not been responding
since Sat Sep 2 23:15:18 2000 EST.

Could someone please give me some guidance on what I should be doing to
either fix or remove this error - I've had a look on the archives to see a
few others with the problem - but no solution
