The transcript description mentions ctime.pl ... reading the faq for
majordomo;
ctime.pl and getopts.pl are included in the standard Perl distribution.
If it can't find it, it means Perl was not installed correctly.
Re-install Perl. (you may want to take the opportunity to upgrade Perl,
too)

Something bad must have happened to ctime.pl because I have not touched the
perl installation.
> Why has it started?
Having a look at the suspect;
[root@qube /root]# cd /usr/lib/perl5
[root@qube perl5]# ls -la ctime.pl
?--x--x-wx 22085 30019 2682 1666872882 Nov 3 2032 ctime.pl
[root@qube perl5]#
This does not look good.
A known to be working version produces;
[root /root]# cd /usr/lib/perl5
[root perl5]# ls -la ctime.pl
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 1707 Oct 21 1998 ctime.pl
[root perl5]#
> What is the easiest fix?
Replace ctime.pl with a good one ... fine, but what went wrong with the
original version?
Cheers, Malcolm
