Zeffie,
I think you are totally missing the point here. There are many of us on
this list that do not want to waste the time of re-reading the same posts of
information that can be obtained from the archives.
You yourself said that posts/threads like this and 'check the archives' are
a waste of time. Don't you think it's more of a waste of time to repeat the
same content, which is already in the archives, back to the list? I'm glad
technical book/manual publishers don't have the same mentality. Every book
would double in size, just like this list will....
Like Mr. H. P. Stroebel said, if you have so much free time to re-answer
questions by searching the archives for someone, please feel free to do so
(off list) for the original poster. That reminds me, "You can give a man a
fish and feed him for a day, but teach him to fish...."
