RE: [cobalt-users] Server can't keep time

I was advised by one of the Cobalt reps that the recent upgrade
that has been so much problem (proftpd) sets time stamps at 3
hours ahead of East coast time.. Just incase that is what is
happening... I noticed that when a file is written by a script or log
on my RAQ3 that the time is 3 hrs advanced. Although, the GUI
manager shows the correct time.. Just a little notice for ya.
Hopefully they will have a fix out soon.. But my electronic
experience would tell me that if the clock is running fast that
perhaps there is also a problem with the divide by in the bios setup
of your machine... maybe maybe...

Hi,

I've got a RaQ3 that can't keep time - in four days, it's gained 2 days, which is
ridiculous. As the client's got a hotel booking system running on it, it's causing a
fair amount of problems. I've got it linked up to an NTP server, but it doesn't seem
to do any good.

Does anyone know anything that can help?

Thanks in advance.

Dave
