I am getting the exact same error message.  

Cobalt must have laid off the quality testing person in charge of testing
the new .pkg updates, or else we would not have these problems and they
would not have to keep removing updates from the RaQ2/3/4 download pages.

They should have a group of 3 or 4 outsiders (outside of the company) who
get a free machine, that they send the patch(s) to first to test for a week
or two before being officially released.

Sometimes, if the patch is not announced in the cobalt-announce list, they
tell some of us that it is our fault for installing it before it was
officially announced.
