RE: [cobalt-users] RaQ4 and FrontPage Extensions

After an hour on the phone with tech support (who were very helpful indeed)
they found the error. It's a small bug that they are patching already. You
have to add this line: MailSender:validuser@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx to the site's
.cnf file located at /usr/local/frontpage/site.80.cnf . Just to let you all
know how to solve it in case someone had the same problem.

Subject: [cobalt-users] RaQ4 and FrontPage Extensions

Hi all,

I own a RaQ3 and a RaQ4 and for some reason I can't get an email form to
work on the RaQ4. The same procedure works on the RaQ3 though. All I do is
log in with frontpage, insert a one-field text box, set up the form with an
email address and save. This works on the RaQ3 but no on the RaQ4. I get the
following error:

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's system log for more details.

I tried erasing the vhost, making a new one, uninstalling and reinstalling
frontpage extensions, etc, to no avail. Did anybody have this problem? and
where is this "system log" fpx is talking about? it's not /var/log/messages
or /var/log/anything. Even in /var/log/maillog there is no entry. I was
hoping to see that sendmail failed for some reason, but it seems fpx is not
even trying to send the email. Thank you all for your help.
