Is smctechnologies.com a domain served on 'ns1'? I'm assuming
it is. It seems the ns1 thinks support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
is to be delivered locally, and no support account is on that
box. Is this the case?

Since it is using the local MTA, there shouldn't be an issue with
relay restriction. You would be most likely getting a "relaying
denied" message from sendmail.
