Anita,
Is the double-posting problem with Cobalt getting worse, or are you
reposting previous messages of yours? I could swear that, after a
discussion of this very subject, this is the very same thing you
posted two days ago. I also just saw this happen with another one
or two topics, so...
Constructive criticism: if you're not getting the answers you want,
or answers which satisfy you, then reposting the question exactly
will most likely not help you. Try to change the question, add detail
to it, include more things that might "help someone help you"...
Overpressure Release: ...because it's annoying to read the same
question *exactly* after having already made a sincere effort to
help. It also doesn't look like you're too actively involved in
searching for your solution or discovering anything new; it looks
more like you're asking and asking and waiting for someone to drop
a perfect answer in your lap, which...
Full Disclosure: ...is probably not the case, since I've seen
other posts of yours be quite constructive and detailed and you're
obviously fairly knowledgeable as well as willing to help others.
Just my $.02. And:
Suggestion: if you feel that a public lashing or correction is
necessary, continue the thread. If you just want to tell me off
or you (mistakenly) conclude that I'm chewing on you for the fun
of it, then please let's take the discussion to private email.
After all, I'm only trying to help, you're only trying to fix
your problem, and the rest of the world is only trying to keep
the signal/noise ratio as high as possible.
