[cobalt-users] Email problems on subdomained RaQ3

Hi,

I've had a look through the archives, but nothing jumps out at me.

I'm planning on offering webhosting services across two different servers, one in the US and one in the UK.

Until my US server is available I've setup the hosting of my domain on a temporary home, and have altered the DNS records so that the subdomain uk.alaula.net is pointing to my UK RaQ3.

This all works perfectly, and my server is accessible from that. I have even got a few sites up and running on it and they all work fine.

The only problem is email. I've set up a catchall email address and at first it worked when the host name of my machine was ns1.uk.alaula.net, but i have now changed this to www.uk.alaula.net, and after that email was returned with a misconfiguration error saying that the mail server seemed to point to itself.

Thinking it was a DNS problem ('cos email sent to any other site hosted on the machine works perfectly, and they are all set up the same) i deleted all the information regarding uk.alaula.net from the RaQ and then reset it.

Since then email has just seemed to disappear. It's not turning up in my mailbox and it's not being returned.

Does anyone have any idea how i can fix this problem?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards
