Subject: [cobalt-users] NOW AVAILABLE: qpopper exploit fix

Hello,

the qpopper exploit fix (All Security 3.0.1-6579) is available right
now. Now I want to install it, too. :-)

I have the following installed on my system (a RaQ3):

===
All-Kernel_i386 Release 1.1
Cobalt OS Release 5.0
RaQ3-All-System Release 3.0.1-6168
RaQ3-All-Security Release 3.0.1-6682
RaQ3-en-OSUpdate Release 3.0
POP-Authenticated SMTP Relaying Release 1.2
===

So the only thing I am "missing" is the All System 3.0.1-5917, which
is the Legato Networker Client update. I don't use the Legato
Networker client, so I don't have to install it, right?

What steps do I have to perform in order to install the new qpopper? I
have to deinstall the SMTP Relaying 1.2, right? Then install the fix,
then the new SMTP Relaying? Can anybody please give me an idiot-proof
way to install it?

Thanks a lot,
Florian
