If I remember from my telecoms years, you need to be careful about the
adapter you buy. I think the first rule is to buy locally as ISDN
standards varies a lot between countries...(here in France, adapters
are sold with a S/T interface, this is not the case in the US where
adapters are sold without the S/T interface). I don't know about
Mexico (I think I remember you saying somewhere that's where you
are..) it's close to the US ... but France Telecom has a lot of stocks
in Telmex, ..so ???
I myself am using a 3com 3c891a IsdnLanModem (OfficeConnect line).
It's connected on my Lan and it includes a 4 port 10bT hub, it
provides DHCP and DNS and .. a lot of things. What I like is that I do
not have to mess with the Qube to try to figure out how the serial
port is working which seems to be a very dark subject (and you are
probably limited to 115k which is below the 128k you could have if
your ISP has the bandwith!)... Also if you
look in the KB and in the FTP, lots of patches cannot be installed on
the ISDN Qubes (with an internal card), so for me that's not
good..(french Qubes are already behind beause of the localization I
guess).
Another product I considered is the Netopia R3100 (slightly more
expensive) but with more room for improvement (you can put an ADSL
card..).
HTH.
