I thought about this a little and maybe your question is.
How to know how to enable FP extensions?
The initial screen "Server Management list all the Virtual (and non-virtual)
sites. On the right hand border is a "green-wrench" (and a trash-can). click on
the green-wrench.
This will take you to the "Site Management" screen.
On the left side of the screen is a selection for "Site Settings" Click on Site
Settings
To enable or disable front Enable FrontPage Server Extensions, check or uncheck
the little box.
Then click on "Save Changes" (at the bottom of the table).
