An old saying comes to mind: "A poor workman always blames his tools".

Mr. X (I guess I have to call you that), may I respectfully point out
that most of us have learned everything (or almost everything) we know
about the Cobalt product we own, from this and other lists.

I'm sorry you don't have years of experience in list-reading,
manual-reading, and 'net searching that I do. But unfortunately the
only way you're going to get that experience is by doing it.

When I and a lot of other people on this list first started we didn't
even have the "web"; we learned to work with Archie, Veronica, and yes,
even long excruciating searches through long ftp directories,
downloading the wrong selections at 9600 baud over and over again until
we found what we needed.

Please pay your dues.

Otherwise many of us will just filter you out and you won't have this
resource either.

Respectfully submitted,

Jeff Lasman
