Hi,
I have multi-part questions and two separate RaQ2 servers, one in
production and one being set up.
I did the recent qpopper update "before" the 3.0 on the production server,
and this is the list
Cobalt OS Release 4.0
POP-Authenticated SMTP Relaying Release 1.2-4
RaQ2-Qpopper-Expr Release 2
Red Hat Secure Web Server Release 3.1
Note: no RaQ2-All-System Release 2.98-6168 and when I try install this, I
get the "needs OS 2.0" installed first....that which was overwritten by the
OS 3.0. I did install this OS 3.0 on the above machine from the command
line and got the 'installation successful' message, but it doesn't show up
on the list.
1. So, do I need RaQ2-All-System Release 2.98-6168 on the above machine? If
so, does that mean I have to re-install the OS 2.0, install RaQ2-All-System
Release 2.98-6168 and then re-install the 3.0? (I'm the only shell user so
is that FrontPage cgi problem really a problem for me anyway?)
Next part: Second non-production server which came with OS release 4.0 only.
2. Does the RaQ2 3.0 update include the very recent qpopper update?
I've installed what is listed below...(remembering to do the
RaQ2-All-System Release 2.98-6168 before the OS 3.0)
Cobalt OS Release 4.0
POP-Authenticated SMTP Relaying Release 1.2-4
RaQ2-All-System Release 2.98-6168
RaQ2-en-Update-OS Release 3.0
But now, I can't install the qpopper fix that was very recently put
out....error says I have to have OS 2.0 installed first.
SO, back to a question similar to number one:
1. Am I going to have to reinstall the update 2.0, then qpopper, then
re-install the 3.0?
I would be willing to "play" and do the qpopper 3.1b6 install as Robert
Fisher mentioned on the non-production server just to learn how if I get
pointers to help or easy to follow instructions..:)
Thanks in advance,
Diana <---likes these machines and is still having fun...maybe in spite
of Cobalt...:)
