*exactly* the same way you'd do it in PERL.  The syntax is almost identical.
Really, instead of asking how to do it, just *try* it.  I mean I hammered it
out based on memory (and I don't actively do PERL anymore) in the last email
there.  If you know PHP, then you know the manual, and if you know the
manual then *seriously* your solution is less than 5 minutes away.  No
kidding.
