Dang.  I knew I should have used a smiley.  Or a <sarcasm> tag.

I was hoping you'd know from our previous interactions that I 
wasn't being serious.  In fact, as a note to the list, if I 
appear to be saying something ridiculous, I'm probably joking.

Anyway, for the record, I was taking the p*ss out of a certain 
poster who often levels that accusation against a certain other
poster who is helpful in his area of expertise beyond the bounds
of duty, responsibility or even human decency.

It was also a general p*ss-take out of those who come along to
this list with absolutely no concept of the give-and-take net
culture that has given them the operating system that powers
their servers.

I could go and shoot myself, but I think I will apologise instead.
Less mess for the cleaners.
